Before. I have wondered what would happen on your wedding night when you have sex for the first time and its no good. You would think "holy crap..this is what I'm stuck with"

I'm waiting til after and I'm glad. the whole sex thing brings up too much pressure on both people. It's also good to know that someone wants to be with you for you and not for your stuff! Sex can also lead to many diseases and unwanted pregnancies. even if you do use protection, something can always happen. Think of how much you're life would change, especially if it's with the wrong person. It's also a bad idea if you're a religious person.

After---there are bonds formed when two people have sex. Sex before marriage can cause people to believe that they love the other person when it is only a physical connection. Get to know and love your partner mentally before moving in the the physical.

Definately before because:
1. Not everyone will get or stay married
2. One should not use marriage as a "reason" to have sex as some will if they feel oppressed by their religion/subculture
3. As mentioned before who would want someone who is horrible in bed and then be "stuck" with them. Unless of course you choose to divorce because of bad sex which is as bad as getting married to justify one's seual desires see #2.
A man can and will still leave you whether you are married or not. Marriage is just a legal thing and has very little to do with love. If it did tax and inheritance laws would be different. Next of kin would have to be identified by a spouse (in the absence of offspring) and not automatically assumed to be the husband/wife.
If a man wants to leave nothing can make him stay if he wants to stay nothing will make him leave.
Women need to wake up and stop romanticizing marriage

Well to be honest with you I would say after, Only because I was stupid, and got pregnant at 15, And the guy walked out 2 years later, so I was left parenting an infant, when I was still just a child. So i feel that it would be better to wait, its more romantic, and is more reassuring.

I think it would be so great to share that first experience with the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with...now adays people are so selfish and only think about the plessure they will gain and thats why I think there are so many divorces out there...you should make sure you marry a person you know well and truly love...then sex will be the best!

i think that oral sex is fine so you can kinda test before marriage but i would wait till after to have sex so you know for sure that its someone that you wanna be with forever it would suck to have a child then have that person leave you all alone

At one time I would disagree but now I think that you should be intimate before marriage -- just in case you are not compatible. You don't want to find out that he/she isn't good after your married.
