Although the Bible talks about not going to bed angry, it is more about not staying angry rather than going to bed angry. We all get angry at our spouses now and then, it is unhealthy not to. We do want to resolve those differences however or eventually the relationship will break up.
The barometer of a marriage is unhappiness vs happiness. If the happiness outweighs the unhappiness no matter how bad the bad times are then the marriage will last. If the unhappiness outweighs the happiness no matter how good the good times are then the marriage will break up. In other words if you are unhappy 90% of the time and 10% of the time you are very very happy then it is likely that you will want out of the marriage.

They probably got it from the Bible. Because the Bible says not to let the sun go down on your wrath. Which means dont allow your anger towards your spouse t linger overnight or for days and days. Why? Because it is not promise that you both will wake up each morning. So dont take living for granted. Always getdisputes/argurments settled before you close youe eyes at nite. That way if you or your spouse should die before day, should wont have a regretful heart. Isn't it always best to part from others and them part from us in love and peace?

I think the general advice is don't be mad at each other for too long. Going to bed angry with each other means you've no more opportunity to talk things out (unless you talk in bed). Better to make up beforehand. And then cuddle.

i'm feeling offended out of organic sympathy for you. i could be so pissed off. Granted that he did earn the funds, yet it quite is being thoroughly irresponsible to his kin. i could certainly be very frightened approximately this habit from him. It would not bode nicely or communicate to his skill to be a sturdy and in charge sole provider for his kin. I understand that all and sundry's subject is distinctive, yet while this is available, this is mandatory to to purpose and %. up area time paintings or at residing house paintings, and save some funds of your individual in a separate account, so as that if he ever pulls something like this lower back or worse, you will a minimum of have something for your self and your babies to fall decrease back on. certainly one of those guy who could blow his kin's cheap fees on a motor vehicle is immature at terrific and an unreliable time bomb at worst. If this keeps, this is in straightforward terms a count of time in the previous he screws you over large time, even worse than he already has.

It is biblical. (Ephesians 4:26)
Anger hurt people. If you love someone, you would want to correct the problem before sleeping. The longer you wait the longer the relationship is divided. Find out what you can do to resolve the issue. Build the relationship, don't destroy it.

You never know if today could be your last. You always want to make sure you have told the ones you love that you love them, and never leave arguments unsettled. Don't go to bed angry over small, meaningless things!

Pent up anger isn't good. It's always better to talk things over with your significant other. That way no added stress or tension in your relationship.

For one, one of you may not wake up in the morning. If that was to happen, how would that make you feel? Going to bed angry can give you nightmares. It's just better to finish things before you rest. I hate saying this but my son is standing over me saying....no morning "boom-boom". I apologize.

I agree with the biblical and wanted to add that it could also be that when you let things fester it grows or gets pushed aside and if you don't handle it, it will only make bigger problems.

I would think b/c if something bad should happen to them in there sleep. You would always have that guilt. You only get 1 chance to set things right.
