I would love to start a drug free youth center with a mentoring program...what impact would you like to make?

I would like to have an impact on womens' lives. Chose rather than being chosen. Have a voice. Feel empowered. Teach them how to live independently. Increase their self esteem. Teach parenting skills. And the primary thing I would teach is how to use other women as a resource.

I'm not so much interested in making an impact as I am in being a 100% true person- honest with myself and others and before God. I'm not being negative about your ambition at all (a genuine mentor program is an excellent idea)- this is just my way. We make the world a better place by being true and effecting those around us for good. (Oh yes, and by not littering and picking it up when you see it!)

Like they say in the Boy Scouts; Leave It Better Than You Found It. Maybe I'll teach someone something they need, save a life, plant a tree used for shade 200 years from now......... Jus t don't worry about your legacy and it will take care of itsself as you live your life!

I really want to help people find themselves...to have the freedom to express oneself, think for oneself, not to buy into spin, speeches and marketing, but to really be independent thinkers and actors on the world stage.
That can take a lot of forms, from volunteering to being the best dad I can be, but that would be my goal. So much to do, so few years to do it....
