I'm 25, and addicted to crystal meth. I have used many other drugs and I've managed to continue using drugs for several years. But crystal meth has really got a hold of me and I can't seem to let it go. What should I do?

Well if you think you are severly depressed you need to go see a thrapist, and i think you already knew that. Part of your depression is being addicted to crystal meth, so you really need to get into a treatment for that . I have known people that have taken this drug, and yes it seems it always gets the best of you. You are young yet, and you really need to go into a mental health and have them make arrangements for you to go into a inpatient treatment in a hospital that does this. Cause this is not a drug that you just quit. The things this drug can do to you are really bad, and it is time you get off of it and stay off of it. So please go to a mental health, or call a crisis line in your area, and let them know that you need to go to a hospital that treats this addiction. They will get you into one right away, cause they know how dangous this drug is. So i wish you the best of luck, cause it is going to be a long hard time and work to get off of this stuff, and please do not go back on it, after you get off of it, Get the help you need now, before it is too late.

while there is no drug or known treatment for meth addiction, don't dispair. Talk to your doctor honestly, explain your addiction. He can give you anti-depressant medications which can reduce your cravings for meth. The best thing you can do is stop using. Make a commitment and stick to it. Join a support group, don't see your using friends, find something to do which will take your mind off using, throw away all your paraphenalia such as pipes, mirrors, baggies, straws, etc, get some rest, tell others about your decision to stop, ask for help, and stay away from meth.

you should talk to a professional. the crystal meth may be a means of self medication to make you feel "happier" but you aren't getting to the root of the problem. Medication has come a long way and when coupled with therapy can really make changes in your life.

Here's what an expensive profesional will tell you. STOP DOING THAT. There, now. I saved you a ton of money.

What helped me was joining a health club. No, really. I went swimming every day, and rested in the hot tub, and sweated in the sauna, and exercised. I got very healthy and met a wonderful partner. We've been married 30 + years now. Try it. It worked for me.

Take a step back and look at your life, are you happy if not check into rehab, if you are the check in anyways. Always remember that you have a choice and there are always second chances. I'm sure you have another chance just really give it a good push and walk into rehab. Sieze the day the day man CARPE DIEM but always be proud of yourself.

here's a simple method to stay happy.

every night, lie comfortably on bed before sleep and think of 3 things or more, that makes you happy in that particular day.

if there's nothing special or nice to think about, START DOING SOMETHING NICE then! CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

and............ keep away from drugs.

I don't think your problem is depression. You should go to a drug rehabilitation centre and get some help. each day it will get harder and harder to control. So the sooner you get help the better.
