You find out first if you really have very high blood iron. What you think and what is actually medical true is a different story. You may also want to find out if your parents suffer from the same condition. It could be that you have a condition call haemochromatosis long for very high iron in your blood. One not a good thing. Having very high levels of iron can cause damage. For one your blood vessels, heart, liver, lung, etc. You should see your doctor pronto. My father suffer from it for years. And depending on the level of extra iron you would have blood drawn. Some people it could be once a month or every two weeks. Put this way you can't even donate. But I've heard hemophiliac's receiving it. I donate very 56 days to keep it at bay. My doctor told me that in the future I could suffer from it. But he said that if I donate blood regularly I can keep it at bay. Good Luck!

iron is good for your body, you dont want to decrease it (unless said otherwise) but just DONT, i repeat, do NOT, eat alot of food with iron in one setting or such, as too much iron is bad, VERY bad
