Keep coming back to Yahoo answers to rant whenever you want to, because you will want to!

You have to let your parents live their own lives and it has nothing to do with you. They will both still love you and want the best for you. They brought you into the world, but that doesn't mean they can or will always stay with you. We all have to deal with changes in our lives. Changes for good, bad and just plain change.

Let them both know that you love them no matter what is happening to them. This will be a tough time for them. They won't seem like themsselves. There will be tension and stress and things won't be back to normal .....ever.

Once you properly grieve the past, and get ready to accept and move on, new things start to happen like parents dating again. It's a strange new world but most of us have gone through this.

You are not alone!

Good Luck!

Hey! I have a friend who's parents broke up and she told her feelings to us. I know how you feel. I know that's hard. But as much as possible do something to prevent their break up. God will help you. Check all aspects. Tell them what you feel. I know your the one in the middle of this situation. Speak up!

My parents did break up. There is nothing that you can do to stop it, just realize that they love you. I felt badly for quite a long time.

Realize that if it is the best things for both of them then there is nothing you can do to change it. You will still have both of them in your life and you are not alone. Many go through it.

well first of all, call both of them together and have a little chat with them. if that doesn't work try to convince them how your life will be if one of your parents will go away. that always convinces them to never break-up. works for me!!
