first question to ask is why didnt it work otu the first time?? where did you get it done? It is the best to get is one at a professional pierce shop. not a place at the mall with a piercing gun. at the shops they have plenty expericne and use hollow needles. the second questoin to ask is did you keep up with the aftercare properly?? aftercare pierce solution, antibacteria soap and sea salt soaks (you sould always avoid using hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol or neosporin these are extreemly harmful to piercings no mater hat othe people say)

so you can alway stry again (getting it done at a professional shop and follow the aftercare regularly) but who cares if IT MAY leave a hole in your ear... it is exteremly small, dependsing what size(guage) jewelry you put in though. I have 3 cartilage piercings and they do take alot of work. i recently got one on each ear on the middle of the outer lobe, (on each side) and they gave me sleeping problems for a good 2 weeks. they are still a bit sore even tough they are 3 months old. they can take up tp a year to heal!

but here is a websie. i dont know what kind of piercing you are talking about. maybe a tragus or an industrial??

but who cares what other people have at school.. piercings should be a decision for yourself and not "who has it at school" \\make your own decisons dont get piercings to fit into the crowd....

but i did want my traus done by wimped out... since the cartilage is o thick right there.. i mean think abotu it what if you have to scratch your ear or something its RIGHT there. i think it wouldve been just a pain and irritating.. those also take OVER a year to heal... lol glad i didnt get them done!

Cartilage isnt a good idea because it doesnt grow back, a few friends I know that got their "industrial" (like when you put the bar thru your cartilage thru two holes) and they got like growth around it it looks gross i guess its ur bodies way of trying to heal it.

I also know a guy who got his nose pierced, not on the side but the cartilage part, he had to take it out for his job so he doesnt wear it anymore, but he still has a hole there it looks weird, if ur gonna get a piercing id go with just earlobes, eyebrow, or tongue

Don't get the bar through your ear. I talked to someone who works in a piercing parlor and they said it always makes your ear bend. Ew. My friend's carilage piercing didn't work out well the first time, but the second time, it worked out fine, maybe you should just try it again.
