He can't have it both ways....don't take orders from him. Do whatever makes you feel good. Or on the other hand, he's either selfish or just trying to protect you from his friend who's probably an a**hole!!!!

Hello,
Hold on, I've seen this scenerio before and the solution is simple so I'm going to be very blunt with you and I hope it shocks some sense into you.
As you describe this guy, simply put, he is a jerk, big time and could eventually drag you through a life of so much pain you can't even imagine. For your own good, let him go, (DUMP HIM)!!!! He's not worth waisting valuable emotional capital on. That is unless you are so desperate for warmies that you think you can't get along without him. In that case you are also a jerk and you deserve each other.
So who am I? Just a fuzzy, lovable old grandpa, whose seen a thing or two over my years, Good luck
I am shockeedoc

First off, don't let him tell you what to do. He seems like a jerk and he has no right to tell you who you should talk to.
It sounds like to me you need to ask him why the heck is he acting the way he is acting. He is causing confusion for no reason... don't let him confuse your mind. Try to get some answers out of him considering he still likes your best friend alot.
Also, he can't have his cake and eat it too. He can't have you and your best friend at the same time. He isn't a friend to his best friend if he came to you and called him names behind his friend back. He sounds like he's really immature and that is why he's acting the way he is. He doesn't know what to do with himself accept be a jerk.
Again, don't let him tell you what to do. Who does he think he is? Ugh! He is so not your boyfriend.

Guys do a lot of things that we don't understand. Just like men don't understand why we do the things we do. It's in our nature. Keep on talking to his friends. never let a man tell you what to do and not to do. Ask him why is acting like this and take it from there.

He wants it all! He wants you AND your best friend. He can't have it both ways. He is jealous that you danced with his friend.
He doesn't sound very mature. You shouldn't be serious with a guy like him. He will keep confusing you.

He likes the ego boost that you liking him gives him. That's it. You know the old, "I don't want you but don't want you to want anyone else...".
And as far as him telling you you're not allowed to talk to his friend anymore, I would be absolutely appalled if you followed that advice. Who the hell is he???

Uh, well, since you changed your attittude towards him of course he's going to change his towards you. Men aren't like crap shields where they just keep taking it no matter what. Relationships with men are more reciprocal than with women.
