The Trinity is not in the scriptures.

It was an invention of the Catholic Church

Purgatory, infant baptism, and celibacy of the priests are three other inventions of the Catholic church.

It was preached by all the Old Testament prophets before Jesus

Adam understand the Trinity. God made Adam with "three parts" (body from the ground, breath (spirit) from God, and a living soul from their union) to display the three parts of God (the Father in the spirit realm, the Son in the physical realm, the Holy Spirit in the soul realm)

Abraham show the trinity in Genesis 17 where he cut a covenant with God. Before he could perform the covenant, God caused him to fall into a trance where he witness both the Father and the Son walk through the pieces of the sacrifice. Because the covenant was actually between God the Father and Jesus. In the gospel of John Jesus talks about the experience and how Abraham rejoiced to see him back then.

He taught Isaac about the Trinity when he took Isaac to Mt Moriah to sacrifice him. When asked by Isaac were the ram was, Abraham instructed Isaac that "God would provide Himself as the ram". He knew that God was going to come as the man Jesus and sacrifice himself.

Moses taught the Jews about the Trinity in the temple sacrifices, the Passover, and the Sabbath. He show them the bread that represented Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They then broke the bread the presented Jesus the Son and hid away (like he was hidden in the tomb). Whoever finds broken bread receives a reward. This is the Trinity

Isaiah writes of the Trinity several times, when he refers to Almighty God as "Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and Wonderful Counselor" - names used in the New Testament for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He tells of how God would come and offer himself on the cross in chapter 53 of his book.

Daniel refers to Jesus, the Son of Man, appearing before the throne of his Father God, the Acient of Days, surrounded by the Spirit of God in chapter 7. Sounds like he knew about the Trinity to me.

No teachings of Noah are presented in the scriptures. But according to 2 Peter, Noah's salvation by the flood is a picture of water baptism which is performed in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Once again the Trinity.

So the prophets before Jesus did understand, see, speak about, and write about the Trinity. God did not change his mind. He has always been a Trinity since the first words of the Bible

Genesis 1:1 actually says "In the beginning Gods created the heavens and the earth." The word for God (Elohim is plural), the verb created is singular. This pattern is repeated hundreds of times in the scripture. He is three person with a single will, purpose, and being.

Jesus did not preach the trinity. This was something made up at the Nicene Council---three hundred years after Jesus. It had never been mentioned till then. The church leaders got together to revamp the religion to one that they felt the people would accept and convert to, and stay under the control of the church.

The word Trinity is not found in the Bible. Jesus never taught it. He said the :Father is greater than I am" and he never claimed to be equal to God. That is why the earlier prophets never taught it. God never changes his original purpose, but sometimes people misinterpret the Bible.

Because the trinity was an idea made up by Constantine at the Council of Nicea.

Jesus was a prophet, not the son of god.

God chose not to reveal that particular part of Himself. Which makes sense even the Chosen People had a hard time just dealing with God Himself, revealing more at that time would have just put them more into a quandry.
