I have had a mouth ulcer for about 3 to 4 for days...it is driving me completely up the wall!.... any tips on how to ease the pain of it temporarily....

Buy some to that teething medication for babies. I think they also make a stronger one for adults. Then top it off by taking a few Tylenol.

I get those when I have an upset stomach. So if I eat Tums over a couple of days, the ulcer is gone.

I hope this didn't ruin your Christmas dinner. You poor thing, those mouth ulcers are just miserable.

Warm salt water gargles.
Also, taking zinc tablets will speed the healing.
Avoid anything sour, acidic or tart (orange juice, tomato products, vinegar, etc) or it'll sting like crazy.

GARGLE 3 TIMES A DAY WITH WARM SALT WATER ON THE ROOF OF THE MOUTH USE ORABASE..CAN BE BOUGHT AT A DRUG STORE!
