Why are THEY not facing criminal charges for HIRING them. In the same week this happened, a small company in CA was fined 5 millon dollars for hiring only 10. Can anyone make a VALAD Argument for the illegals NOT to be treated as criminals? They did come here, in OUR nation without permission.

The employer should be fined as well, otherwise there is no incentive to not rehire illegals after the heat if off from ICE.
The problem is that since they're at the beginning of a crack down, there's no uniformity yet. As long as they continue to raid various offenders, they'll get the bugs in their system worked out as they go. The raids have to happen everyday, everywhere, non stop though! The message will get out there and illegals may actually move out of areas where raids are conducted and eventually, maybe they'll even go home! Who knows?

The immigrants are illegal but so are the employers who hire them. This goes on because Bush's policy is to let them all in for the benefit of employers. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14965 Bush has signed a deal with Mexico to have essentially no border with Mexico called the North American Union! Say goodbye to more American jobs. Employers get rich off the cheap labor while Americans go without jobs. Somehow Bush never told us about this.

Swift was in the voluntary check SS#s w/ the feds program and testified before congress that even so they suspected there might be fake ID's, and so they are seen as a 'good actor'. However, there is some discussion about the 'pre raid' employee interviews and layoffs of some 400 employees just before the raid, and I am sure ICE is asking questions.

The Swift Co. case & the fence company case are no wheres the same. The Fence company knew they were hiring illegals. 1 had been deported & came back & rehired.Swift called INS when they checked the sociel security cards & found out some were stolen or dead. That is why the fence owner were fined & went to jail.

One reason Swift hasn't faced charges was supposedly Swift called INS due to finding out fake social security cards were being used to obtain employment. So the illegals were guilty of at least 2 crimes - being here without proper paperwork and using fake paperwork to obtain employment.
Did you see this one Democrat's respond to arresting them?
