why does my HDTV take 4ever to change channels?

HDTVs should only take about 2 seconds to change a channel. You may have the resolution set too high for your HDTV, making it take longer to refresh the pixels onto the screen.

Decoding digital channels is more complicated than the old analog channels, so it takes longer.
