Job is my favourite character in the Bible. A lot went wrong in his life and he still refused to curse God. He did tell God he was being treated unfairly and the resulting conversation between the two is fascinating. My life has been very difficult and I have used Job as a mentor and example of how to respond to my circumstances.

David - I can totally relate to his writings in the Psalms.
He shares praise and adoration to God; trust in sorrow and grief; crying out in depression.

The Apostle Paul - He is one example I believe most of us, in saddness and then joy of grace, can lay hold to.
Cain. He is a victim of circumstance? He wanted to worship God his way, instead of God's way.

Job He endured so much suffering but yet never dropped His faith in God.Just like me I have endured a lot of suffering but never lost my faith in Jesus...In fact it made it grow and I was to learn from my suffering..In stead of turning my back Own God..God bless the U.S.A and all Bless the City of Israel

right now, I relate to David b/c although he was a man 'after God's own heart' he had sin in his life that kept him from God but he did try hard to loose himself from the bondage of sin to return to his Father.
