Have you ever met someone that totally took your breath away? You know like in the movies when two people meet each other or see each other and their eyes lock and they seem in awe and they are full of amazement?

Yah, the movies are bs, but has anyone ever experienced something similar in real life?

I haven't.

Wow, this brings back the memories. There was this girl once, she really did take my breath away. She must have had some sort of problem because her breath was so bad, I felt like retching, no kidding. She took my breath away because I literally could not breath around her, it was that bad. Yuch.

Yes, when I was very young, I was walking down a hallway at work and this guy walked by and our eyes met and I was instantly in love. The next day it turned out that he was coming to work with us and he knew who I was all along. I fell in love and it was a love that ended pretty quickly due to a variety of reasons, including my own immaturity. It took over ten years to forget him. I still treasure my memories of that day and times with him. It was wonderous, and later so painful, I was never the same person again.

Yes..someone did take my breath away..It's an incredible feeling..I literally could not breath and my heart skipped a beat, I had to hold on to a chair to keep myself from falling.. My best friend at the time was with me and she thought I was dying.. If it was so, I would've died happy. I later met this guy and got in a relationship with him.. We broke up but he was my first love.

Yes. It was like a dream come true for about two months. Then it was pure hell. Never take anything at face value, and hey, after that, I'll be careful what I wish for...

My stepfather once tried to smother me with a pillow. That really took my breathe away.

Yes, my fiance, he'll say something or the way he kisses me or the way he looks at me and I have to think, ok, breathe now.

My husband did that to me, first time we kissed, and many times we kissed after that. When you're so totally head over heels in love with someone, I think its unavoidable.
