French Bulldogs really are incredibly cute. The best way to get one (if you choose not to buy from a good breeder) is to try the breed rescue. A friend of mine was able to adopt a 2yr old Frenchie from NY (we live in Colorado) for relatively nothing (compared to the cost of buying a puppy). This is the website: http://www.frenchbulldogrescue.org/
Good luck and happy holidays!!

You could have a look at www.tradingpost.com.au

I found my dog on there and he is a really wonderful little boy. They are at fairly good prices too seeing as they aren't sold from pet shops but people breeding at home, although sometimes this may not be as reliable. Another option is finding a professional breader, so this way you will have a quality dog who wasn't born because the mother accidently fell pregnant with some random dog of the street. You have to be careful when buying a dog because if you buy some cheap one you may end up spending more than you would with a breeder as you will have to pay for vet bills if your dog falls sick. Good luck and I hope you find a beautiful and loyal dog!

First of all, the cheapest way to buy a french bulldog is if you want to pay tons of veterinary medical bills in their olden ages. Who cares about how much the dog will cost? It matters if you get it from a quality breeder, and $600 will save $2000 when they're senior citizen dogs...

Other than that, you could get it from your local animal shelter... they need homes!

Go thru a french bulldog rescue. Buying a pup is very expensive. Of all the bullies, the frenchies are the only ones I like.

Why would anyone ask a question like this? buy from a puppy mill> buy from a shoddy breeder. and you will get what you pay for. Genetic defects, bad temperaments, unhealthy, and anything else you don't want in a pet. Whe I buy a dog I look at the breeders and ask a lot of questions, and expect them to do the same.

Try a Bulldog rescue. They often have very young ones that need a home, and they fix them. You have to go through an adoption process. They have rescue groups for many breeds. Its a great thing to check out. Good luck!
