SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - U.S. Hispanic groups and activists on Thursday called for a moratorium on workplace raids to round up illegal immigrants, with some saying they were reminiscent of Nazi crackdowns on Jews in the 1930s.

I read this on Yahoo, and frankly, think these people are nuts. Since when is arresting law breakers like Nazie's?

What is everyone else's opinion on this?

Mine is that the arrests where long over due and that the company officers should have been arrested too.

If we had open borders and worked on getting other country's to crack down on terrorism we would not have concerns. Employers would not be hiring people at below living wage because no one would be in fear anymore to speak out and things would equal out. It all comes down to equality. We where all immigrants at one time. Employers would stop crossing borders for cheaper labor. Education is the answer and that has to be made available to all, not just those who can afford it. Our environment has to be protected, not just in American but world wide. There is so much to work on in this world. Please start looking at the big picture. Haven't we all wanted what is best for our family. Do you think Hispanics are any different? Mexico has some serious problems. What we should do is offer help through education to turn them around.
Yes, the news article is ridicules, doesn't that show you how much education is needed?

The immigrants are illegal but so are the employers who hire them. This goes on because Bush's policy is to let them all in for the benefit of employers. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?i... Bush has signed a deal with Mexico to have essentially no border with Mexico called the North American Union! Say goodbye to more American jobs. Employers get rich off the cheap labor while Americans go without jobs. Somehow Bush never told us about this.

The same problem has occured in California. When the law makers wanted to deny medical benefits to illegal aliens, there was chaos in the streets of LA. Protesters marched, banners declared it illegal. The law makers backed down. So now illegal aliens receive the same benefits as tax paying residents. This is Naziism in reverse. Our country needs to get its priorities straight. Minorities of people are telling the majority what to do.

By doing this, these groups are showing they have no respect for US laws and side with criminals. They can ull the race card. They can pull the Nazi bs. Makes no difference. They are in the wrong .

"with some saying they were reminiscent of Nazi crackdowns on Jews in the 1930s. "

Dumb***es.

Making that comparision is disrespectful to all who were forced to be in a concentration camp.
