How about a bag of jelly beans. If they were all the same flavor and color, your sweet tooth would get bored quickly and cry for mutiny. Put a variety of flavors and colors in the bag and your sweet tooth is having a party and everybody is invited.

I like a melting pot best. At the beginning everything sticks out with its own properties, but once combined, each begins to take on the others qualities while still maintaining a few of its own characteristics until it's fully melted and contributes to the overall appearance.

1. The rainbow with 7 colors - it wouldn't have been called a rainbow if it was monotonous and dull.

2. Britney Spears album Baby one more time - I really like the video for its racial diversity - it kinda feels cosmopolitan

3. Children playing - nobody singles them out for color or ethnicity - when children play, it's children play - even the most hardcore racist wouldn't interject.
