One, be glad you have a dad around.
Two, talk to him privately (if you can't talk to him try writing a letter) and ask what chores he thinks you need to do and explain what he makes you feel like when he talks to you like that.
I was ask by my children to change the way I talked to them in front of the family and their friends and when they explained why, I would tell them what was wrong off to the side. I didn't realize what I was doing. Maybe it's that way with your dad too.

agree.... say you know what yes I am lazy and I hate cleaning, but hey if you really need it clean then you should have had a maid instead of a kid. He will stop embarrassing you in front of family.

You may want to talk to your dad and tell him that it really bothers you when he does that. And start helping around the house so he can't say those things.

If you really are not helping out around the house, then what he said was true and therefore nothing to be done, just agree.

If what he said is not true, then say that, tell him that simply is not true.
