People feel "good" this time of the year but behave miserably to others (unless they want that someone) the rest of the year. You know what? If you care so darned much for other people then why don;t you show it the other 364 days of the year? Do you need Santa Claus, presents and Christmas lights to find your decency?

Actually the people who are jerks all year long, are also jerks on holidays. They are the ones who cut you off and take the parking spot you were waiting for at the mall, the same ones who are rude to you and ignore you when you greet them. Many others however and nice decent people who help others all the time and it just so happens that media and private companies glorify the christmas season because they need peoples generosity and good deeds so that they can spend less money on the poor and unfortunate.

i donate to my local charity any time of the year. but i can still be just as mean on christmas as any other day....hahaha.
