Yes, we are all sinners. And if we ask we can be forgiven. Being a Christian does not mean we are perfect and will never sin again. However, it does mean that we have asked for forgiveness and have repented of our sins. Being a Christian is not an easy thing to do, we must strive everyday to be the best we can be. However, being human we may stumble. Thank God for Jesus! Have a blessed Christmas and a joyous New Year! God bless****

Of course, we are! There is none of us who is righteous, but Jesus came to seek sinners to save. When we accept and by His grace and power keep His commandments, we become saints.
"12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those[g] who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. " (Revelation 14:12).
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,[g] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But[h] outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:14,15)
3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
(1 John 2:3,4)

It's good to hear that another Christian has come to grips with his/her true nature. Now, how do the rest half a million believers get to where you are? It's not so much that they don't know they are sinners... they act like they don't sin and it makes the sinners feel defensive.

Yes, all men are sinners. "God permits evil in order to draw forth some greater good." - St. Thomas Aquinas. Thus St. Paul can say in Romans 5:20, "Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more."

You are either a sinner or saved by grace. The blood of Christ cleansed us from our sins. We still struggle with sin, but we are no longer sinners.
(2Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

So let me get this right, I can sleep with my sister, eat the neighbors cat, kill my friends grandmother in cold blood, rape a child and spread STD's to under privileged families and its okay as long as in understanding that I was wrong, I formally asked god to forgive me after the fact? Thats awesome that I can still be a Christian after all that. So what did you do to decide you needed to become a Christian?

Yes, I am glad that you pointed this out bc alot of christians are fooled by their clergymen. The clergy preach perfection and most church members believe it is possible to attain perfection. At one point I was fooled by this, but I now know the truth.

Yeah, I know that. Are there people who think Christians are perfect? I suppose I should feel somewhat complimented, but c'mon, that's a tad ridiculous.
Happy Birthday, Son of God.

You cannot attain perfection in this life, it will continue on into the next. You are to do the best you can with what you have. That is all anyone can ask of you.

We are all sinners and fall short in the glory of God. Thank Him by his Son Jesus for his faithful love that we may be reconciled with him.
