why did he lie...?

there is this guy im seein, well yesterday i stumbled upon his i.d and realised he's been lyin bout his age.he's a yr younger 20, im 21, and he's been sayin he's 22. everythg was goin great, now im wonderin if i shd comfront him bout this, i dont want it to seem like i was snoopin thru' his stuff. what to do, what to do??

maybe he thought that youd have a hangup about him being younger than you, and really has strong feelings for you, i really wouldnt put alot of stock into that, he obviously wants your affection, you should just tell him that you know and ask him why, im sure that it will be just fine, it doesnt label him as a lier it just means that he woul go through hell and high water to be with you, dont sweat it sweetie

I would ask him, maybe its some dumb reason like drinking, or maybe he is insecure and thought you wouldnt like him if he was younger. I would guess more so that its the drinking reason because if its the younger man thing then he would have had to eventually tell you thus risking you freaking about a lie that festered for a long time.

Say something. Just tell him you saw the id. Otherwise, you'll always wonder what else he's not been telling you the truth about. Maybe it started out that he really liked you and didn't think you'd be interested if he were younger...

Yes confront him because if he lies about his age he will lie about anything , if this relationship is new u should consider a new one . He may be lying about if he has a girlfriend.
