How much longer does it take for mail to reach it's destination during the holiday season?

In terms of delay, how many days?

Actually, my experience here in Canada is mail takes less time during the holidays. They hire so much extra help.

That is, unless you are talking after Dec 23, then it would take 3 or 4 days longer than usual.
