Im looking for an Italian word that means something like "holes in their hands" or "generous"

I'm Italian and when we speak about too generous persons, maybe spending even more then what they can earn, we do say "hanno le mani bucate" that translated is exactly "they have holes in their hands". When it's a single person the sentence is "ha le mani bucate"
