Probably because if you're willing to be his friend and put out, he doesn't see the need to become officially involved. Some guys are just pigs that way.
Tell him that you don't like the "friends with benefits" relationship that you have, and that unless he is willing to become romantically as well as physically involved with you, you won't have sex with him anymore (or anything else physical, even kissing). You can tell him that you want to stay friends (if you do want to sty friends) but, I dunno, tell him that he's hurting you with his insensitivity.
And if he doesn't go for it., then frankly you probably shouldn't want him anyway. If he isn't willing to get romantic with you, then it's safe to guess that all he wanted was some a** anyway.
If that's the case, then get away and take some time to heal before jumping into another physical relationship.

Either this guy doesn't like you so much and is embarrased to announce you as his girl, or maybe you're just being too easy on him. He gets all the perks of being in a relationship without actually being in one. Maybe if you show him that this term "going out" is more than just a term, and is needed inorder to recieve certain benefits (ex. sex). You have to figure out if he really wants to be with you or if it's just physical for him.
this may not be a definite answer to your question, but it's something to think about

It's obvious that this "boy" wants only sex from you. he does not want a relationship with you. dump his sorry *** and find someone who wants to be in a relationship with you. unfortunately there are too many men/boys out there that are like that. and , I don't want to be rude, but next time, try actually dating the guy first BEFORE having sex.

Perhaps he only sees you as a friend with benefits. It takes a long time to understand that your love can be your best friend too.
Relax, enjoy his company, and sooner or later he will realize that you've always been there for him and maybe things will work out.

Because he already got what he wanted from you without being in a relationship...
Honestly, I don't think he's worth it...
