Your best bet would be where people sell old computers and hope you can find one with the CD's.
Computer Parts stores. Way in the back somewhere.

Seeing as how Vista is knocking at the door and will probably be the cause for Win98 updates to be shut down entirely.

well it should be available at all of the leading software sellers in ur city
or alternatively u can buy directly from the microsoft at thier website and pay online and they will ship u the copy of the os
but i suggest u to buy windows xp as 98 is out and people are going for vista u shuld at least go for xp

hoping that you are in Bombay, best place for the official version would be the various shops at Lamington road. There are a few shops near Bombay VT (CST) near the McDonalds outlet, which also provide the software.
best option to find retailers is to email a query to Microsoft, they respond real quick with detailed info.

You will not find it, because microsoft already stopped production of it. So if you get it, then also it will be old CD or Pirated CD. Better you not buy it.
