Internal bleeding will cause a dog to act that way it some times occurs from tumors. Take your dog to the vet.

Its Christmas, its nighttime, and you dog is obviously not well at all.So the obvious answer it get the guy to the vet as fast as possible. My only problem here is this: the thousand dollar question. Can you afford to get the 24 hour on-call Vet clinic to look at your guy and suggest a treatment that can range from re hydration and blood work, to major surgery?
If your answer is a well thought out yes, he is a very lucky dog indeed. If not, many of us are pulling for you as you try and help your dog the best way you can.
Things that have worked in the past for sick dogs are:
A quiet, towel or blanket padded area like a small bathroom or closet if a crate is unavailable.
Keep the lights low, and the outside stimulus at a minimum. He does not feel good and should not be spending energy on doorbells, phones and company.
A small bowl of water at the ready is a must, clean and handy, and keep a hourly check on his intake.
I*f you know how to take a rectal temp, your even closer to what to do.A dogs normal temp is between 100.5 and 102.5 with anything above that an indication a serious problem. If as high as 104 even with prompt Veterinary intervention the outlook might be vary sad indeed. Please take his temp, and have a friend help you. No one should be alone on Christmas with a sick or dying dog. Best of luck Da!

how old is he? worms can make a dog very sick, and lethargic. and I'm sure there are a lot of other things that could be wrong. definitely take him to the vet. he may be dehyrdrated by now from not drinking, the vet can hydrate him with a shot or something. dehydration could kill him. dogs, being small animals, suffer the negative effects from dehydration a LOT faster than people do. Also, younger animals, older animals, and sick animals also suffer the negative effects faster than healthy animals and average age animals. Worms are a very serious matter and they do kill. DO NOT DELAY. This is an emergency.

A visit to the vet is emminent. If you have to I would call and see if an emergency vet will see him tonight.
If this happened very sudden, he may have gotten into poison, anti freeze and such and is very deadly if not treated right away. How old is this dog, and how quickly did this happen? Did he get into anything unusual? Has he been left alone outside?
Call your vet, often times they will have an emergency number for you to call. My vet has a pager for us to call in case of an emergency, and if she is out of town she makes sure we have the numbers to the Emergency vet hospitals.
I would waste no time and call now.

Is he vomiting?
if so what color is the vomit?
Does his stool have a bloody discharge?
Is he going to the bathroom at all?
If yes to any of these questions, and he isn't up to date on his parvo virus vaccines, I would contact an emergency number for a vet. Very few dogs survive when stricken with parvo.
If none of the above is something your dog is dealing with...continue giving him water, even if it requires constantly taking him to his water bowl. That will help flush out toxins.
Is he sneezing? Raspy cough? Does he groan when you touch his abdomen?
These are all things you need to know and find out to better help the diagnosis. Sounds like he definately has a fever hence the chills and warm nose.. keep him covered up, lots of water..
Let me know how things go.
Good luck.

The only one who can diagnose what is wrong with your dog, is a veterinarian. There are so many things that could be wrong. The vet will run some tests on him, in order to determine what the problem is, and then treat it. Good Luck!

i dont get why your even wasting time typing this. you should have brought them to a vet a long time ago. shame on you for leaving him to suffer like that. u should bring him in before its too late. why are you waiting? go on now, take him. there are 24 hour emergency vets, or regular ones.

I would definitely take him to the vet, especially since he's not drinking. The not barking and not being himself and the warm nose...definitely he's sick.
I hope he gets well!!
