how do i break up with the guy im seeing if i just want to be friends..? he says he loves me and im the one for him but i just dont think he is the one for me..

wow was my situation, minus the love part. and im the guy... so you gotta tell him this all moved fast and although you did feel something for him its just not quite there anymore and you think maybe you should be friends and you kno if things start happening like they used to then you'll work it from there, but u just not ready to be serious and your not feeling the relationship anymore. and say you feel real sorry and that you care about his feelings and dont ever want to hurt him, and give him time to get his mind set (like maybe a week) then start hangin out w him and just be sure to talk things out. i mean it worked well for me and i was attatched to her, let him talk it out to ya to listen... good luck

Be honest. tell him in person. Tell him in a private place...never their own home. It will hurt him and he may always remember it there. Don't do it around a holiday or on any special date. Don't use any lines either. Understand his feelings and that he'll probably hate you after you tell him. You can't be friends when someone loves you and you do not. You may lose him forever. Be careful. There may be no going back.

no easy way to do it.... just tell him you only want to be friends.... i wouldn't elaborate and say you aren't the one for me and etc... but just be honest.....
