Im making a cornish hen and I want to know do I have to base it woth butter every- 15 min. If so, well I ran out of butter so waht can I use. Please help, I want to impress my family.

A Cornish Hen only serves two people at the most. Your best bet is to either provide them with frozen delights, or take them out to an all night Chinese Buffet.No joke! Your Cornish hens are not enough to satisfy your family's needs. There is no shame in that, just load them up for a buffet near you, and you should be alright.

Cornish hens are usually served to one person. It does not need to be basted at all. You can put its own juices over it for basteing.

if you have already basted it you can cover it with aluminum foil. but i hope you are cooking more the one Cornish game hen.as the most you can serve with one hen would be two people.
