I am assuming the answer is YES because we have Abercrombie and Fitch and American Eagle stores where teens and adults shop. I have to admit that I check girls and guys out to see what label is on the back of their jeans. I can tell if a girl has American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, or Hollister jeans due to the design on the back pockets. Same for guys. I think a name brand tells a lot about a person. Not that they are snobs or stupid, but what catches their eye, what they find comfortable, etc. Let me know what you all think. The vast majority of guys do not care. They care how they look, and how the clothes feel and fit. Good night!

If a guy or girl looks good in what they are wearing, does it really matter what the name brand tag states? Name brand clothes can be bought at flea markets, yard sales, eBay and thrift stores for a tenth of the true retail price. Truthfully, are you really noticing the name brand on their clothing or how the clothes fit the body? Maybe some people need name brand clothing to help themselves establish their identity. You are not what you wear, but how you wear it. I personally notice a person by their confidence and how they move in the clothing.

I think as a teenage and in the early twenties branding your clothes, is a status thing, it shows you are part of the cool crowd, and can afford it, mommy and daddy at least can.

In my mid thirties now, I do tend to like a better pair of jeans, but my size 8 figure is different because I have had children and I look for fit and style, I can find them at pennys, gap, old navy and sometimes a cute fit at target, shirts, I could care less where they come from, as long as they are stylish and comfy, sweaters I like a well made one.

When you get older and you are spending your own money, you are very watchful, but I have bought really cute stuff at walmart, and at macys (sale rack of course LOL)...

I think teens tend to want the "coolest", but its not an adult thing, if I could afford it, sure I would be in Jones of NY and claiborne, but now I wear what I can afford, and still look like a million bucks, its all in how you carry yourself :)

Usually when friends ask where I got something and I tell them oh yeah target, they are crazed and dying to go to target LOL... a good looking piece of clothing can come from anywhere.

i dont think it matters much for girls as it does for the guys. i shop ae and hollister and have noticed that most of the guy stuff is the one with the big american eagle across the shirt or hollister co on the front, girls clothing is less tagged. plus, if you know how to work it, you can make clothes from target look hot. its all about your attitude and how you express yourself. i dont think it tells much about a person cause in my case, most of the ae clothes i wear is also worn my like half the people i know, im talking same t shirt and jeans, which kinda sucks, but we all have different personalities. heres something ive learned from my parents and there friends...im not trying to act rich but they buy real expensive clothes like hugo boss, prada, etc. and they all look like clothes you get at walmart. my dad has this all black versace t shirt that cost him $120! for a black shirt that doesnt even say versace anywhere and looks like a hanes shirt! thing is you shouldnt judge people because of what they wear, its all a trend, next thing you know we might all be wearing torn up jeans with paint splatters that look like theive been thru a hurricane....oh, we already wear them! damn i like looking like a bum!alton956@yahoo.com

I dont think it matters nor should it matter what kids your age wear! Guys dont care what girls wear and it would be selfish of them to act or treat others different becaues of a label. Lets face it most all cloths are made in a 3rd world country and you are more than likley paying way to much for so called name brand cloths. I think it is a waste of money!

The only guys who notice what label a girl is wearing are GAY!
The girl could be wearing the worst brand from Walmart, & if she looked good in it, that would be good enough for most guys.
So if you are only interested in attracting men then save a buck or two, & shop for clothes that fit you right, & pay less attention to the designer labels.

I don't think it's the label but how guy wears what he's got. A pair a jeans to me look like a pair of jeans. i personally don't like having some other person's name all over my clothes and guys still notice. I heard some one famous say when he was young he was voted best dressed and he got his clothes from the Goodwill. So i think it's how you wear it not who you wear.

i understand that i seem to work out what style of clothing all people is donning, no longer by using fact it somewhat concerns, im in basic terms curious to work out what style of denims people placed on and stuff. Like i can % out the manufacturers via the layout on the decrease back wallet, too. yet I dont tihnk adult adult males somewhat care what style a woman wears, till theyre like an particularly preppy guy or a jock, then they are able to tell or could care. wish this enables, that's in basic terms my opinion

As long as the cloths fit and look nice on her it don't matter if they were bought at Walmart.A name brand doe's say allot about a person,it say's I'm spoiled and I'm to good to wear anything other than over priced preppy cloths.

Me, personally, do not believe the clothes make the person. What they are wearing is simply superficial. If someone only cares whether or not you're wearing Versace or just something you got off the clearance rack at Wal-Mart, you probably don't want them in your life.
