If you are going to train a beagle pup to get started in the right direction I would get the real thing , a domestic rabbit would work. Put it in a area then take it out then bring your puppy in and see if it will trail it. You might have to repeat this procedure sometime age makes adifference give the puppy a chance don't get disgusted.

Some grocery stores carry farm-raised rabbit.

Yes, but only in the larger super markets. Often you can find rabbit meat for sale by individuals who raise them for sale. Look in your phone book for someone who has rabbit meat for sale.

Sure, but I've only seen it in the kind that feature big meat markets. Local ones. I live near the King ranch.

dont do that, what you need is not meet, but the hide, feet, and bladder. or just the entire dead rabbit. dont let the pup chew on the meet though, ohh and i havn't ever heard of that at the store, but im sure theres alot of things that i havn't heard of.

Don't know where you are at, but I've seen it in QFC, King Soopers, and Walmart. Also in the bigger meat markets.

I've never seen it, nor have I ever seen it offered. Only meat I've seen is beef, pork, fish, and foul.
