I know you say it may be too expensive but I think the best thing to do is to take him to the vet.

It sounds like if the cat has diahrea, then it might have had it for a while, and if that is the case there is nothing much you can do it sounds like it is just inflamed, think about it when people have it for a long time, our bums start hurting after a while right? Just try to feed him dry kitten food that will help get his stools a little more firmness and hopefully will get rid of the poops, if it doesnt work however, you might want to give a vet a call, they can't particularily diagnose over the phone but they could give you some pointers.

It sounds like it's little bottom is sore from the diarrhea. Stop feeding the kittens for 24 hours to let their bowels calm down (but make sure they have clean water available at all times). Then start introducing a fairly bland diet of dry food. Put them on a feeding schedule (feed them several times a day at the same time each day) to help "program" their bodies to eliminate around the same time each day, and make sure their litter box is always clean and available to them.
The kittens are old enough to get vaccinated, too. You can buy the vaccinations on-line (at places like drsfostersmith.com) and administer them yourself (if you can't afford to take them to a vet). Now that they're not on their mother's milk, they'll need to be vaccinated to jump-start their immune system, or they'll be open to all sorts of diseases. We also suggest that your buy a worming agent, as worms can cause kittens all sorts of digestive woe. Over the counter wormers can be useful; just make sure you're getting one that is appropriate for kittens.

Hi I think taking him to the vet is a good idea, he should be ok till then. It may be his glands near his anus are plugged and need to be squeezed. I wouldn't recommend you do it as there may be an infection and you may hurt it. I don't think it is worms as if he had them bad enough they would come out. You should de-worm him though, they vet could do that too....

Well, two things.
He may have worms, and they are about to come out. I know it's gross, but when we rescued the first of our seven cats, the same thing happened.
The only other thing I can think of is that it has an infection. I know that the vets are expensive, but what you can do is go to the humane society and explain about how you rescued them and stuff. You can ask for the humane society to take a look at him.
When we were in the same situation, that's what we did.

Find a way to afford it and bring him to the vet.You should not try anything on your own because you could be making matters worse.I am not a vet but it sounds like he/she may have parasites. If that is the case you need to get him/her to the vet pronto and it is not that expensive.Where I live you could take them to a shelter and tell the shelter you rescued the kittens and your funds are limited and they will give you a really good deal on any care they may need.Good luck.

K. try dabbing a cotton ball of hydrogen peroxide on it to kill the bacteria thats causing it. It will hurt the kitten for only about a minute but after the first time it should realize it feels better later. Just continue to do that till its over. Have patience and care.

Contact your local SPCA or humane society. A growing trend in animal shelters are no-kill shelters. These shelters focus on treatment and rehabilitation. For a nominal fee, they may treat your kittens. If you could part with them and would like to see them adopted, they could help place the animal with a caring family. I adopted my cat from a no kill shelter and when the time comes to adopt another, I will do it again.

This sounds like worms. My former kitten had them. You need to take your kittens (both of them!) to a vet ASAP. Worms are VERY dangerous, even life threatening.
