The rundll32.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32.
In other cases, rundll32.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm! Virus with same name: W32.Miroot.Worm - Symantec Corporation
Backdoor.Lastdoor - Symantec Corporation
Trojan.StartPage - Symantec Corporation

You can use your Windows install cd to repair or recover the file. IdIf you are worried about viruses you can download & install the AVAST anti-virus application after you repair/recover the file & can boot your computer up tp Windows.
