I am kinda dealing with the same thing, except im not married, best bet is to get him to relinquish parental rights, it might be hard, but tell him child support is dropped, and if you can do that have your husband legally adopt your son, those are my plans also!! When you go to court you can only talk about the childs interest, not financials or foolishness, family court judges only decide for the childs best interest, not facts! Good luck, oh, most states wont grant full custody to just one parent, if both are available just fyi!

each and all the posters who reported a decide could be out of her thoughts to furnish custody returned on your son's monther have of course never dealt with CPS or family participants Courts. Judges can do something they rattling properly please. This woman had to be investigated SIX circumstances after her son were taken to the ER sixteen circumstances. Why did no longer somebody (no longer, you, Dad, because you of course did no longer be attentive to, yet CPS or the ER or somebody) do some thing till now this element. If she shows some sparkling drug checks, completes some outpatient therapy, she will have the skill to in all threat be granted a minimum of joint custody with you. you could basically desire she fails miserably at staying sparkling, and how lots desire is that to have? That your son remains risk-free on the price of no longer having a sane, sober mom? he's risk-free for now, get a criminal professional who makes a speciality of family participants court docket and sturdy success. I choose you the terrific.

Your son's father is a convicted child molester and you want him involved in your son's life??? What in God's name state do you live in? That man should not be involved with your child at all, and I can't believe he was even granted visitation!
Your current husband IS your son's Daddy now. Forget the loser ex, and concentrate on you, your son and your husband being a family.

I sure hope so, and it sounds like it. Join the club, it brakes a mother's heart to see a child hurt. Keep records of everything. Best of luck to you and your son.

yes you could really get sole custody, I know of one good thing you could have win this for you and that would be what his biological father was charged with, although this does not always get someone's children pulled, it is a very strong thing you have going for you...Take it to court and try to get sole custody.

Not a chance. The state always rules for the woman. They always get away with that kind of discrimination.
