Death bed salvation is unscriptural. You can't argue the thief on the cross either because Jesus had not died yet and he is the testator. while alive the testator can do whateve he wants, but at death the survibors MUST abide by the testement, and the New Testement is plain that death bed salvation is not accepted. Sorry.
However saying that how do you know that he did not obey the gospel bofre today and maybe he was living the Christianlif. I don't know I did not know the man, but i think it is tacky to ask questions like this.

I cannot spead of JB but the Word speaks about those that live their entire life in unbelief and in a lifstyle that is anti-God.
(Revelation 22:11-to-16) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
(Rev 22:12) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
(Rev 22:13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
(Rev 22:14) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
(Rev 22:15) For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
(Rev 22:16) I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Thanks, RR

Yes i agree..Show him some respect..I myself do not agree with the way he lived his life, but who am i to judge him.. and he does have family ..actually my daughter 's best friend is his granddaughter and I'm sure she would not appreciate the bad mouthing... Why would you chose to talk about someone who has passed away anyway?? they cannot defend themselves.. its a shame the lack of respect people show others.....
I also want to add that he has always done alot to help the less fortunate people around here..he always gave away food and clothes and toys for the families and children.....

He and Gods knows....
And some wait to late....
God said in Exodus-- My spirit does not always strive with man--
People should not tempt to wait out God and think they can just accept God whenever they want too.
Don't work that way..
The Holy Spirit must draw a person to Christ...
Salvation is on Gods terms--not individuals.

No one has a right to judge anyone. That is between God and James Brown, I hope he was a believer for his sake.

I personally find it quite disturbing how he died this morning and people are already speculating and condemning him to here or there. Show the man some respect.

Doesn't matter. He was a great entertainer, and while he had flaws, he also had some good personality traits. He lived a full life and gave a lot to the world. May he rest in peace.
BTW, I don't believe in your "lake of fire."
