The time between births can vary by pup (in the same litter). Some pups come within 15-20 minutes of one another, others can take several hours to be born.
If your dog struggles over the birth of one pup for more than 5 hours, you need to get her to the emergency room. (This usually means her uterus can no longer contract or the pup is in at a weird angle and she can't push it out.)
But don't panic until you get to that point. It's not uncommon for an hour or more to go between pups.

Wow, sounds like you may have to go in there yourself, or get some veterinaty help. Most dogs give birth to all pups IN an hour Don't go past three hours before doing something though. Hang in there. If the three hours pass, Take your dog to the vet and make sure everything is alright. Have someone stay in the back seat with her just in case though.
I wouldn't wait much longer for fear of the dog and the puppies help.
Good luck, god bless, and Merry christmas.
Hope they are all healthy and cute!!

My German Shepard had five in the night, she seemed content so I went to bed after watching a couple hours. In the morning there were four more. Only one died but I couldn't tell which one cuz they were all black and very close in size. Dogs have been littering their pups without human intervention for centuries.

1-2 hours is fairly normal. I have seen them go 3 hrs between pups and everyone be okay. If she seems to be in distress, she may be in trouble. Watch gher closely and call the emergency vet if you have to.
