I heard that the bible was written by men through the Holy Spirit. Why do people believe it ? If today the same men wrote a book and they said it was inspired by the Holy Spirit. I don't think a lot of people would believe in.

Interesting question.
I think it is true that when people today write or say anything that is supposedly coming directly from God/Holy Spirit, they are looked upon with a certain degree of skepticism (or when they are too adamant about it, they end up injected with haldol or thorazine and get to spend their days in a white padded cell. Little white men in little white suits are coming to take you away, hehe haha hoho...)
If you look at the Bible objectively, you can see that each book was colored by the personality/conditioning of its author and their particular anthropomorphization of God. It makes sense to me because if God was talking to someone (we'll assume He was) then what God said would be slightly reinterpreted as the author wrote it down. Think of the phenomenon that occurs when a story is whispered to one person in a string of ten people and by the time it reaches the tenth person, the first person can hardly recognize his story. In the case of the Bible, it is direct to one man but he may still project his own feelings onto what he thinks God would have felt in particular situations like when God was supposedly angry about worship of Baal, we must assume then that God is faulted with very human jealousy, rage, etc. when I choose to think of God as being above personality defilements, seven sins, etc. If he is flawed as such, how much fun or how peaceful will it be to spend eternity with Him?
Why do people believe it was inspired by God? Because i think it was inspired though i don't believe that the Lord forced word for word dictation AND there is a vicious rumor that we are not to question the authenticity of every word being the direct WORD of God and if you do not believe, extreme discomfort of the warm climatic variety for a rather long time...

Thousands of people have examined the content of the Bible and agreed that it was inspired by God.

If something written today could pass the same test, it would indeed be consider the word of God.

Today we live in a society of doubters. The only thing people believe empirically is what they see on the news, which is usually half truth and half opinion. God could come down himself and write a gargantuan novel and not be taken seriously.

Do you feel when the Angel of Death enters a house, or do you see him when he takes out life of anyone? How does he take out the life of an embryo in the womb of his mother? Does he reach it through any part of her body or the spirit responded to his call with the permission of Allah? Or does he stay with him in the mother's interior? How can he who is unable to describe a creature like this, describe Allah?
