Might be your mucous plug. It can come out anywhere up to a month before your baby is due, although mine came out 18 hrs beofre mine was born. Be alert for any cramping, etc as then you will need to call your hospital.

Probably your mucus plug. The cramps are normal. Your body is having contractions (braxton hicks) to prepare for the big day. When you are in TRUE labor you won't be sitting on the computer asking if it is the real thing, because you'll KNOW it's the real thing because it will be like nothing you have felt before. For instance, you won't be able to drive normally through a normal contraction. You won't be able to keep walking normally and may double over in pain. Every woman is different and some never feel the full force of contractions because they get induced and have pitocin, plus pain meds or an epidural before the real ones kick in, but I've had 6 and when the REAL ones hit, you'll know because it won't be cramping, it will feel like .....well, like your insides are coming out. lol. Imagine your worse intestinal cramping after eating too much and multiply that a few times, say 25 and there you have "real" contractions. But then again....I've had women tell me they had no meds and never felt any pain whatsoever. Ya gotta hate them for that! lol. Best to keep your doctor updated regardless. I assume you are seeing them once a week now. Unless you see green discharge, then just wait till more pains come regularly or till your regularly scheduled visit.

clear fluid could be your water leaking, if it's a little thick and slimy, could be your mucus plug. As long as the pain isn't too bad or you have a gush of water, give it some time. the worst is being at the hospital too soon laying in a bed being frustrated.
best of luck to you, happy holidays!

It sounds like your mucous plug. Have you been extra busy?!!!lol You are seeing your provider weekly by now...when you go in next, tell them what you just told us, and they will be able to tell you if you indeed did lose your plug. Some women lose their plug just before labor starts, some a week or more before. Just get ready...you're going to have a baby soon, and everything is happening normally!

It sounds like your mucus plug to me. I lost mine when I was in labor, but women can loose them and still go another week or so before going into labor. It might be a good idea to give your health care provider a call and let him/her know what's going on.
Good luck, and happy birthing!

It sounds like you are losing your mucus plug. If you are having steady contractions about 15 minutes apart you should call your dr.
