to my pc game the sims it doesn't pop up when i put it n

try going to the My Computer icon and it should say Sims 2 and click on that and then follow the instructions.

Go into my computer and locate the CD ROM drive with the Sims logo then click on it and see what happens if that doesn't work right click on it and scroll down till you find Autorun if that doesn't work then right click the disk and go to open search the disk for a file labeled setup.exe or install.exe or anything .exe.
If none of that helps then return it to the shop you purchased it from and ask them. If the disk is pirated talk to the person you got it off ask them what to do or try it in another PC.

what are you trying to install some software . program . a pc game?

Try going to "My Computer" then you will see your drives open up the (D) drive or what drive it shows up on then open it up and it should start.

Go to "my computer" and click on the disk drive...which should be D:/
