It depends on what kind of hepatitis, if it was treated and what the person's condition currently is. Some companies will issue a policy for hepatitis C patients one year after combo treatment has been completed if the viral load is still below detectable levels. The person probably would be considered an impaired risk and would be required to pay a larger premium. Other companies wouldn't touch this kind of client.

You may be able to get life insurance depending on the type of Hepatitis you have and which company you request coverage from.
Many life insurance companies require you to take a medical exam to determine your health and the extent of any illness you have, such as, Hepatitis C.
People with Hepatitis usually are charged a higher rate for their life insurance coverage due to the condition of their health compared to the average applicant for life insurance coverage.
There are some life insurance companies that do not require you to take a medical exam. Depending on your answers "Yes or No" to a few simple health questions, you may qualify online for full coverage in about 15 minutes.
You may be able to get affordable coverage from an "A" rated life insurer that requires no medical examination. Go to http://www.rbcexpressterm.com/partners/default.asp?p=2041&promotioncode=FOIQA-TL-777 for an quote now.
I hope that helps you find life insurance that meets your needs. Best of luck to you!

Yes, but rates will depend on whether it is Hepatitis A,B, or C.
Companies are looking to see what your LFT's (liver function tests) look like, as well as how you developed Hepatitis if it is Hep C.
Companies want to know your lab results for:
ALT
AST
Alkaline Phosphatase
Bilirubin
They are also looking for results from any liver biopsy or ultrasound tests.
