Would your parents freak out if they knew you were dating someone? If so, then just hold off and be friends. A secret relationship is not a relationship.
If your parents are OK with you dating him, ask him to a dance at school. His parents should be OK with allowing him to go with you to a school dance. If he thinks his parents would object, then ask your parents to call his and let them know that your parents will be taking the two of you to the dance and dropping you back off. This should make his parents a bit more comfortable with him and you being together.
If he doesn't like this and wants to keep the relationship a secret then there might be something else going on. Maybe you're only seeing him as your boyfriend and he's telling you to keep the relationship a secret because he actually likes someone else and doesn't want you to talk about the relationship.
This whole thing sounds a bit fishy - I'd really back away from this until you've figured out the whole story.

If you and he both think your parents would freak out, don't you both want the same thing? I would be upfront with my parents though. Surely they understand that you are growing up and have an interest in boys. It is much better to be open about subjects like this, then to have them find a note, or something about you and your friend by accident. I hope your parents are open to talking.

Well in my opinion i dont think that you guys should even be going out. Maybe you guys just need to be friends and keep it at that until you get a little older. B/c if your family finds out you guys may be forbidden to see eachother ever again.

Keep it a secret. I know the urge to tell the world that I am in love!!!! There are some people who do need to know or to be told. You guys are young and thus your relationship will not please your parents. Do not lie to them, be cool, and don' worry. Also, don't do anything dumb.

If you were older then I would say that man is married.
But since you are 15, then I'd say it's because his parents won't allow him to date until he is older. I hate secrets!

It's not a good thing to hide a relationship. It really isn't. It'll just get worse and worse. Maybe it's just an excuse so he can flirt with other girls when you're not around.

From my view is not like keeping it as a secret. I will see it as not trying or not having to justify this relation to other's....ask your instincts...
