Antiquated as it is, I need the drivers for dial-up. Dell does not have them. Driver guide offers them , or so they say if you want to fill out a survey for 2 hours. Do they even exist anymore. My husband is a Computer and Electronic Enigineer and he cannot find them. I am just giving it a shot. I have been to every site I know. Have a new install of XP pro. This was supposed to be a Christmas Present and can't fix it. HELP, from people that are not dummies. Husband spent time for hacking and cannot find them! What's up with that?

I found them on on Dells Website. Downloads for Inspiron 1200
Listed under available driver downloads for Windows XP. Choose a Device for Download, choose "COMMUNICATION" and the Conexant D110,MDC,1.5,v.92 download. The v.92 sounds like a modem to me.

Here is the link:

You'd probably have better luck looking for the drivers for a specific brand and model of modem.

these are the reasons why i build my own computers and for my family and friends. i use drivers guide when someone brings me a computer that they have (not on purpose?) deleted a driver. i guess i could have given you the log in and pass word from my account but i kinda figured you would have e-mailed me.good luck.

You will need to know the type of modem that you have
Or enter in the service tag #
I did a product type search which led to a dead end
