I just got my first mac. Are there any good sites with free tutorials on how to use osx?

Use the Help Viewer program that comes with the Mac. There's an option in there called "Discover your Mac: Work smart, play hard".

There's lots of information in there.

Use Spotlight (in the top right of the screen) to search for help viewer and you'll find it :)
