In a recent poll in the (US), 100,000 people per year in America alone, are converting to Islam. For every 1 male convert to Islam, 4 females convert to Islam, Why?

really punished, the man who raped the woman or

Great question!

Islam is growing much faster in Europe than it is in America. In Belgium and Rotterdam, Holland Mohammed is the number one name for baby boys. In America the growth of Islam is much more among young black men in prison and the like. Muslims have a very good prison outreach system here.

Why? Because people cannot exist in a spiritual vacuum. In post-Christian Europe there is no moral system linked to an eternally germaine faith--like Christianity. With the vast immigration to the EU from Northern Africa and the MIddle East, Islam comes right along to help fill that spiritual void. Especially for women. The idea of the feminist movement was that any meaningfull differences between men and women could and should be erased. Women could drink and have sex just as loosely as men could. Now, the feminists would be proud, women actually drink MORE than men in the UK and US.

And along with it all women feel (rightfully so) degraded and used by society. Slowly the realization is taking place: men and women are not at all the same. Equal, but not the same. And they see a religion in Islam that portends to value women as family-makers and unique beings. That sounds good to a whole lot of ladies.

Christianity used to be the obvious place to turn to for society's disenchanted masses. But that's no longer an option in most of Europe. So Islam steps right in. What's amazing is that it's rather wealthy and even famous European girls. In America it's poor black guys who find the whole Nation of Islam a la Louis Farakan appealing.

Islam will be the dominant religion in Europe in a couple of generations. I think that's a bad thing. I pray that the church in Europe can get the guts to stop that from happening. Otherwise this whole "War on Terror" business is much deeper than a war here and there. It can easily ignite into a veritable War of Civilizations.

But in all fairness to us Christians, the numbers(results) cannot accuratly portray the real numbers consering in Saudi for example under the Sharia, its ILLEGAL punishable by death to convert to another religion. Numbers and percentages cant take that out.

As far as women being the majority of converts - some Christian denominations still have a rather discriminatory view of women - they are still views as being secondary in the household and primarily the raisers of children. In Western culture women are also seen as sex objects, you must be sexy and have a certain look to attract men. From what I have seen in Islam women are looked as equals, and in having the dress requirements to be covered then eliminated from the whole tease and catch that really is tiresome to be honest. Especially for women that my have been abused or treated badly to start with. So if a woman is a believer in one god to start with it could be attractive.

Now it does seem like there are some regional discriminatory practices imposed on women in some fundamentalist Islamic countries.

Similar reasons are attributed to a higher number of women going to pagan religions, where a Goddess or God and Goddess are worshiped as equals.

In short, YES, better for the society.
Reasons are clear as the female to male ratio is more in almost all the countries, so the females are mole likely to be single than man (or in other terms used like a public property), better they get married rather than single or used as a public property.

TWO REASONS.

First, Islam has one of the highest birth rates in the world. In Saudi Arabia, it is an average of six kids per female. Palestine is even higher. Just based upon birth rate alone, it is the "fastest growing." (That should not be taken as any kind of positive endorsement, just recognition of the birth rate.) If a woman wants to have a lot of kids, it is the faith for her as it is a rule of the faith to have many children.

Second, it is one of the easiest religions to convert INTO and one of the most dangerous to convert OUT OF.

To convert to Islam, all you have to do is say, "There is no God except Allah; M...mmmm is the Messenger of Allah." (I will not even type it correctly as someone would claim I converted.)

Try to convert out of the faith, specially in a nation that is mainly Muslim and you take your life in your hands. In some Muslim nations, you can be beheaded for converting out of the faith.

If a Muslim man marries a non-Muslim woman, it is required of her to convert. If a Muslim woman seeks to marry a non-Muslim man, she is at risk of losing her head. With that kind of retribution, it is no wonder that "once a Muslim, always a Muslim" seems to be the rule rather than the exception.

-- It has answers to EVERYTHING you wanna know the answer to. It's a simple, logical religion that DOES NOT ALLOW COMPULSION in religion, by the way. Now, as for WOMEN, that's simple too. Women are given the MOST rights in Islam. (Read the question posted by me: "Females, do you know your (religious) rights?... Read those answers by Muslim women, and you'll know why.)
The Quran is the only Holy Book in which women have a lot of respect. Polygamy in there is limited to 4 wives (with the permission of the existing wife/wives, the condition that all wives MUST be treated equally, and many other conditions); other religions basically allow as many wives to the man as he wises.
In Islam, a woman can initiate a divorce; on her marriage contract, she gets to ask for ANYTHING she wants to (RELIGIOUSLY), tells her husband that if he decides to marry another woman while she's married to him, then they must first divorce!
-- A Muslim woman is NOT confined to household duties as she is in other religions. When a female child is born, she is considered an EQUAL blessing to her parents as a male child is.
-- She's required to be educated! Women in the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) actually ARGUED with him, and another woman has been reported to have proven one of the closest friends of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) wrong and corrected him.
-- She gets to have any kind of job she wants and can keep her earnings ALL to herself without feeling obligated to share it or spend it on her family (as is the case with men).
-- A Muslim woman can go to the Mosque all she wants. She gets more blessings when she prays at home, though, because women argued with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that it wasn't fair that you get more blessings if you pray at the Mosque but women have to feed their kids and all, so what must they do? So, he told them that they'll get more blessings when at home!!
-- It's NOT true that a Muslim man can marry non-Muslim women but a Muslim woman can't marry non-Muslim men!!! In the Quran, God says not to marry non-believers! Then He considers anyone who believes God has a son a non-believer, so that means Muslims can't marry non-Muslims!
Proof? Here:
"The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!" (Quran, 9:30). So, because God considers them UNBELIEVERS, we can't marry them. And, of course, polytheists are also considered disbelievers/unbeleivers..... HENCE, MUSLIMS CANNOT MARRY NON-MUSLIMS!!! Get that silly mosconception out of your head!!!
Look, I can go ON AND ON about women's rights in Islam. Go to ANY Islamic website and you'll know why women choose Islam as their number 1 choice of religion.
