Is Absinthe legal in Canada? (Victoria B.C.) I want to pass across the U.S. border a couple of absinthe bottles as gifts. Is this legal? can I get into trouble? what's the worst that can happen?

I'm not sure about the other provinces and territories, but absinthe is legal in Quebec, you can buy it in almost all the SAQ stores.
Here is a link.

Okay... I made a quick search on yahoo.ca and yes, it's legal and available in British Columbia also.

No, it somewhat is not unlawful and it would not make you hallucinate... it in basic terms makes you under the impression of alcohol by using fact it has an extremely extreme alcohol content cloth... i recently offered some absinthe and the data replaced into 87%. of path you do no longer drink it directly, you dilute it with water, oftentimes the ratio is 4 to a minimum of one.. one quarter absinthe and 3 quarters water.
