If a guy gave me panties for Xmas, I'd be embarassed. Do you know what ur doing in the lingerie dept? If you buy them and they're too small, she'll think her butt's too big. If you buy them too large, she'll think you think her butt's too big. Don't put yourself in that position.
Depends on what you want to spend, but try to find something more in the spirit of the holiday, more appropriate for her age, and, if you're really trying to make an impression, something very classy. Here are some suggestions:
$20 and less - A CD you think she'd like (not what you'd like) or, if you don't know, a great Xmas CD and a nice Xmas ornament on top of the package with the bow.
$20-$40 - gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure. Ask one of her friends where they think she'd like to go. Put the certificate in a nice card and attach a nice small Xmas ornament to the outside of the card.
$40-60 - a bottle or gift set of Chanel No. 5. None of the other Chanel's - just No. 5. Very classy perfume. Not the cheesy stuff her girlfriends will buy/get and will make her feel like a princess.
Anything more expensive than this is inappropriate for someone at this age and for someone you haven't known for that long.

Yes, too soon and too young to get her panties. Her parents should object too!!!! If she were my daughter, you better not be discussing panties or even looking at her panties since she is only 15. If my daughter were having sex and got pregnant before she graduated from high school, you would have to get a job to support that baby. Better be careful son.
Better buy her some perfume or a sweater or something like that. Since today is Christmas, you should have already gotten her something anyway. Hopefully you are joking.

How old are you? If you are the same age I would say go for it but get her some panties that are proper for a 15 year old girl.
