i have one that`s square for using charcoal,and another for oak,or hickory coals,that's the big one.i could cook a 200lb. hog on that one.

I have a 1966 model grill in my 1965 truck, my 93 sable does not have a grille, and I cook on a Chef pro stainless grill. Gas. It is shaped like a normal grill, not an egg.
It has 2 shelves and a burner on the side

I have the long one with double racks. My advice for you is this: do not get a huge one if it is not an absolute necessity. My grandparents gave me a huge one as a wedding present, thinking someday we will have a large family. Until then, I have to refill the propane tank every month. What a waste of money! I only cook for two people.

I have a combo grill/smoker. Wouldn't even think of a gas grill!
Having spent 2/3rds of my life in the south, I've grown fond of REAL smoked BBQ meat, and you don't get that with gas.

Our kids gave us a terrific Char Broil grill for Christmas. It is wonderful.
