Man did not create God...God created man and everything else on this earth, including the earth...and yes God can destroy anything He wants too...Ever hear of Noah?...God told him that the end of all flesh had come before him and the earth was filled with violence through them and that he would destroy them with the earth... so he had Noah build the ark and take the clean beasts and the fowl of the air by seven and the unclean beasts by 2's...And God himself shut the door to the ark....then the rains came after 7 days and destroyed every living thing, man and beast, on the earth, except for Noah, his family and all that was on the ark...
So yes He can destroy man if He wants too and I'm afraid its not gonna be too long before this happens again except this time it will be with fire and brimstone and the earth will be no more!

That, that is created can never be greater than the creator.

it is written

do not fear what man can do to the body, but fear the one who can destroy your soul.

Yes

one scenario is like this! Everyone gets resurrected, both the good and the evil. Then He separates the sheep from the goats and destroys the world. Everything in the world will Melt and become like Glass. the people that are left on the planet will have their resurrected bodies destroyed in that fire.
Of course it also says that ONLY the sons of perdition will be lost so the majority of us do not need to fear that day.
Then again before the resurrection, everyone alive on the planet will be destroyed if they do not confess Jesus christ as their saviour which will be like the days of noah where all flesh was destroyed except Noah.

RATZ!! my dislexxia kicked in and i read the question wrongly.
LOL man did not creat god, he was given ideas of false gods by fallen angels and then created their own religions. False gods can be destroyed easily one person at a time. Its like repenting of one theology and subsscribing to another

Sadly, no. Religions have been a part of human experience since we first evolved. One can see, through the fact that over 10,000,000 religions have claimed to be "the truth," that they're all bullshit, but this cannot destroy faith. Faith is the ultimate cop-out. You can believe something truly ignorant, just because you do, and this blind acceptance is encouraged, especially by catholicism. I go to catholic school, and it's only spat on the grave of my faith. However, with technology advancing as quickly as it is, I figure within a couple thousand years, we may be able to actually create a conscious, god-like being or computer system. In which case god may exist, and destroying him would be as easy as pulling the plug.

Ummm didnt read it correctly at first....I answered this on the thought that the question goes: If God created man, can he destroy him as well? so goes my answer:
------------------------
Yes but he won't.

“Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) God views humans as individuals with the potential of attaining to repentance. His “will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4) Why, Jehovah is delighted when “someone wicked turns back from his way and actually keeps living”!—Ezekiel 33:11.

Man whom did create the god concept would most likely have a very hard time doing away with it. humans have been infected with a mind virus called a meem. this is an idea that is spread from one mind to another. eventualy large groups of people adopted this meem and it became as real in the minds of beleivers as the ground they walk on. sadly unreasonable thought will always be around as long as their are humans . you cant destroy the concept but you can stop from spreading it .

Man can only disbelieve GOD not destroy GOD for GOD is the creator.

GOd can destroy Himself by sinning. GOD is not tempted by sin so He is The Beginning, The Middle and the End of all.

I suppose you could try educating someone out of their lifelong brainwashing if that's what you mean by destroying a mythological being. It doesn't work very well. After years of programming the brain forms physical structures which when activated by contrary input will not only reject the contray input but actualkly reward the person with a shot of happy hormones when they reject the new data. So good luck with that.

In order for something to be destroyed, you must prove that it first exists. The religions have had thousands of years to prove that a man living in a cloud exists and they continue to come up empty handed. We are waiting for your proof other than someone said so. What seems to be the problem?
