this whole thing w/ the end of the world and global warming is kinda sending chils up my spine....wat about u?

I would be much more concerned about a major illness such as AIDS or a strong strain of the flu wiping out the population more than global warming causing the end of the world. Is global warming a good thing? No, not by any means. Does it mean the world is going to explode tomorrow? No. The media sure does try to play it up though. Seriously, get your affairs in order, spiritually and in your life whether the world comes to an end in your lifetime or not, you should have that kind of order in your life. Then, it won't matter what happens to the world, because you will know that you have done the right thing in your life.

not me, Greenland's largest glacier is actually growing. Temperatures have been increasing at a constant rate for the last 100 years therefore temp change is not related to pollution. In the 1800s the world was coming out of a period called the little ice age and what we a re experienceing is the earths normal fluctuation in temp. I forgot to mention the la nina this year, not the el nino of global warming. The reason for concern is that we like idoits built everything on the coast and is prone to flooding.
In summary although there is pollution and there is an increase in the earths temp. There is no proof of cause and effect, only that both occur at the same time. Proving causation is very difficult. Also the models that show the end of the world are according to the scientists who have created them, not very accurate.
Unfortunately if you study science, you will learn that scientists need grants to earn a living and keep their jobs. By creating a fear of global warming they have job security. The facts point to normal cycles of the earth, but a picture in the end is worth a thousand words.

No not at all. Because on the one hand they say the earth is on average 2 degrees warmer because of globe warming. Then on the other hand they say if two countries like Iran and Israel got into t nuclear war it would cause a two 2 cooling of the earth which would be disesatrous for the earth by shortening the growing season which would cause a shortage of food world wide. That does not compute. because according to them we are 2 degrees too warm right now. and if the earth cools 2degrees then that will put us back to where we should be. So they are talking in circles justifying their government grants as far as I am concerned.

The things that they say is the cause of global warming is not so. CO2 they think is the main problem not so. Mother nature solved this a few million years ago with the interdiction of plants into our system. Plants absorber CO2 and give us back oxygen. CO2 has not increased for 30 years that I know about.
Don't let these nuts control your life ,study and find the truth.

Did you people know that SHEEP emit more ozone-destructive emissions than all humanity? And that the eruption of a volcano can emit more toxic waste than man could in a few million years? People these days LIKE to think that humans have the ability to destroy the earth because it gives US power and takes power away form God. We couldn't destroy the earth even if we wanted to.

I recommend you read "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton. Great Book, and it'll make you a lot less fearful of Global Warming. You'll also learn how not to let scaremongering media scare you.

Godless scientists have tampered with the research in order to get Gore elected. Its all a big fakade. I'd have said facade, but I voted for Bush in the last two elections, and obviously don't know how to spell.

Lets say, one huge or more than one volcanoes go off at the same time, nothing humans had any part in, we are going to go into a deep freeze.

The world will exist for another 4 billion years...stupid humans will soon destroy themselves...then we Tomaxians can colonize you world and finally get some decent produce.
