The bible is an instrument to make the weak of mind, weaker and to turn some people into zombies, fanatics, that's all it does, knowing this, some of the 'preachers' become millionaires pulling money from believers..☺

I can say a lot about the Bible. You make more of a statement than a question. What the Bible says about Jesus is that He was there with the Father when the world was spoken into existence, the Lamb of God slain from the foundations of the World, our known world when time began for humanity. The Word of God to us is the Bible. There are not enough resources to contain all the Words God has ever spoken but those are the ones we should know to understand our history, our present condition, and our future. Yes, God created everything in the beginning and the earth and sin were cursed due to Adam and Eve's sin. God is eternal and is not a created being. He is finite and we cannot possibly comprehend all there is to know about the maker of the universe. (Job, Psalms, Genesis, and more)
My question again to folks is why in the world do you think Christians understand all mysteries of Godliness? We are not ignorant people (the beginning of wisdom is the fear of God) and besides I would rather be a fool for Christ than a fool who said in his heart there is no God. One day we will understand all things when we get to heaven if we are believers.

First of all, since you are asking, are you aware that you are HAPPY, by Jesus' definition? During his sermon on the mount, at Matt 5: 3, he said "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need." Now, you are absolutely correct about God, who's name is Jehovah. The Psalmist at Psalm 90:2 says: "Before the mountains themselves were born, or you proceeded to bring forth as with labor pains the earth and the productive land, even from time indefinite to dime indefinite you are God. About Jesus, the apostle Paul at Colosians 1:16, 17 says that "because of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth... by means of him all other things were made to exist." So your question is how can God still be referred to as "the Creator?" Well Prov. 8:30 speaks of Jesus as "God's master worker." Think about it this way. At a home building site. You have the builder. The man in charge, right? But generally he's following the instructions of an architect, who is probably the one that hired him in the first place and provided him with the necessary guidelines for the home he is building. Jesus is the builder. Jehovah, his Father, is the builder.
BTW, God did not "create" hell. That is simply mankind's common grave. Nothing more. But that's for another question.
I hope that helps you. I'd like to give you one thing to think about. Be careful not to become like those the Apostle Paul spoke of at 2 Timothy 3:7 who were "always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth". Pray that God help you come to a TRUE understanding of his word by means of his Holy Spirit . Why? Jesus, before he died, at John 17:3, said this means "this means EVERLASTING LIFE, there taking in knowledge of you, the only true God and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

It is correct that Jesus created everything, including angles, hell and heaven. See John chapter 1 verses 1 through 5. It speaks of how "the Word" (which according to verse 14 of the same chapter is another name for Jesus) created everything, and nothing exist that he did not make.
That is because Jesus and God are the same person. Look at Philippians chapter 2 and verses 5 through 11. It explains that Jesus has always existed as God. But there came a time when he laid aside his divine power, and became a servant. It was as a servant that he created everything for his Father. He then took on the form of a man (Jesus) and was obedient to his Father even to the point of death. Because of that, he was returned to the position of Lordship, once again God.
So how can God be Father and Son at the same time? Same way a human being can be a body and a soul (mind) at the same time. Your body is just as much "you" as your mind. You could not function without the other. But they function in different realms, with different abilities, and perform different duties.
God also exist in multiple realms. He operates in the heavenly or spiritual realm under the name of "the Father". He operates in the physical realm under the name of "the Son", and He operated in the soul realm under the name of "the Holy Spirit". All are "God", just operating in different realms, with different abilities, doing different duties.

DonDee,
First - the concept that Jesus created everything is probably not established in scripture other than through the very thin reference offered in John 1.1. The concept of Christ's participation in the creation of the world is mentioned in the Nicene Creed, the statement of faith of Catholic Christians:
"We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, ... of one being with the father, through him all things were made"
In fact, the concept of a literal creation is not supported by the Bible given the nature of the texts found in Genesis 1-2. Rather, if the text is studied structurally and in context, we find that it is a hymn or a poem of praise. Genesis was written during the Babylonian exile, and during this time the Priests were trying to maintain the Israelite culture and religion, which required explanations of how the world came to be as well as declaration of the supremacy of the Israelite religion. If you notice in the text of Gen 1 - 2, it is a mocking of the Babylonian Gods and not meant to explain the precise order of creation.
Moving on to the concept of God the Uncreated one, this is even harder to explain. The concept of creatio ex nihilo (creation out of nothing) was made dogma by the Catholic Church very early in its history, thereby influencing all of its descendants (Baptists and Evangelical Christians included). The concept of the prime mover (the uncreated one who creates) is simply a necessary philosophical fix because otherwise, God would not hold the place God holds in our society and in our lives.

Before everything else came into existence, Jehovah God created Jesus. This was why Jesus was referred to as God's "only-begotten son" (John 3:16), "the firstborn of all creation" (Col 1:15) After Jehovah God created Jesus, he used Jesus to create all other things, those in the heavens and those upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible. (Col 1:15-17) This was why Jesus was also referred to as "the master worker" in Prov 8:30. (See Prov 8:22-31 below.)
"Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men."
See also, Genesis 1:26, "Let us make man in our image..." "US" in this verse corresponds with Prov 8:22-31. Jesus was there with Jehovah to create all other things.

Your first statement may be referring to John 1:3 which explains clearly that Jesus is the son of God, but also, God the Son-- a difficult concept to grasp, but there are lots of very true concepts that are not easy to understand. Yes, He did create everything and He created it "very good." But He gave us a choice to follow Him or not and as a result of our choices, the perfect creation was spoiled. He has promised to restore it once again-- in His own time.

Did Jesus create dinosaurs? If he did , how come his father didn't know that they existed? Don't believe the blindfolded religious people. The Bible was written by ancient ignorant people who believed that if you got too close to the edge of the Earth, you fell off. And now we are stuck with their belief that there is a man living in a cloud (who has a problem showing up). Lets free ourselves of a God Concept that was the 'brainchild' of people who thought that the Earth was flat. These poor people were wrong, very wrong.

God is three in one, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Therefore, Jesus, as part of the God-head, did create. He(Jesus), is the Word, and became the Word made flesh. I hope helps, since I found your ques. a litle confusing.

Well I can say.... it is corrupted..... and has many contradictions...
"Sorry if the following answer offends you, in anyway directly, or indirectly. I have nothing against Christians, I just want to lay down the truth infront of them. And again sorry"
I don't think there is anyone that has read the whole bible with full understanding to it, that's still a chrisitian.... because how can someone read the whole bible inside out and still be a chrisitian when it has many contradictions and lies? [sorry if your offended]
Apart from contradictions....what do you call these?
http://www.islamawareness.net/Christianity/inbible.html
About the Trinity?
There is no Trinity...its fake....and I can't be asked to explain and refute it right now....too tired.... so just read all of this....
http://www.bismikaallahuma.org/archives/2006/a-logical-reasoning-refuting-the-concept-of-trinity/
Simple as ABC....where can you go wrong :)
Heres something for the Jehovah Witnesses...

If you can answer them properly and correctly, then PLEASE!!!!!! Send them to me at epyon000@hotmail.co.uk
Need more?
Why don't you Christians read this perhaps...

Although there are more than 101....
GOD's stupidity is smarter than all of us?!

I can go on and on and on...but to make things short, here read the rest of them yourself!

But it does have some true statements... and for those who accept what the bibles says, do you except this then?
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), in the Bible....
http://rapidshare.com/files/8930407/Muhammad_In_the_Bible.pdf.html
About Muhammad:
http://rapidshare.com/files/8931362/Prophet_Muhammad.pdf.html
So there is a lot in the Bible..... which majority of it should not be followed... as it contradicts.... heres one....
It's a bit about God, according to the Bible and the Qur'aan:
Can God be Seen?
What the Bible says:
“So Jacob called the place Penial, saying ‘It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spread” (Genesis 32:30)
“Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel…” (Exodus 24:9-10)
*Contradicting verses from the bible*
“But, He (God) said: ‘You cannot see my face, for no-one may see me alive” (Exodus 30:20)
“No-one has ever seen God…” (John 4:12)
So who is lying? Exodus chapter 24 mentioned seeing God, and then in chapter 33 says that God says: “You cannot see my face, for no-one may see me and live”
Contradiction? Or just lies? Doesn’t matter…..
What the Qur’aan says:
“No vision can grasp Him, but He grasps all vision” (Qur’aan 6:103)
**Gods Description**
What the Bible says:
“…they trembled because He (God) was angry. Smoke rose from His (God) nostrils; consuming fire came from His (God) mouth, buring coals blazed out of it” (2 Samuels 22:8-9)
-[God rides an angel (cherub)]
“And He (Gof) rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind. (2 Samuel 22:11 KJV)
“Contradicting verse from the Bible to the second one*
“But, He (God) said: ‘You cannot see my face, for no-one may see me alive” (Exodus 30:20)
“No-one has ever seen God…” (John 4:12)
What’s going on you may ask?
What the Qur’aan says
“And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allaah?” (Qur’aan 6:93)
“There is nothing like Him; and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer” (Qur’aan 42:11)
“So invent not similitudes for Allaah (as there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything). Truly, Allaah knows and you know not” (Qur’aan 16:74)
So which Book is more correct and believing? The Bible with contradictions, or the Qur’aan far free from such contradictions?
