If you have a Dell computer along with the original O/S (operating system CD) and the System CD you are in good shape. You will need to install Windows XP first then the Dell specific drivers from the other CD. Depending on model, there may be more CD's for programs or hardware. Install the O/S first, then go to the Dell website http://dell.myway.com and use the "check my computer". It will install all the latest updates.

Call dell, their number is 1-800-WWW-DELL, and contact the technical support team. They will send you the driver, and software disks, I had the same exact problem with my Dell Insprion B130 Notebook. Hope this helps, Brodster
